RESIDES: Vancouver
What do you like to skate?
Pretty much everything. Really tight trany, smooth streets and sidewalks are at the top of my list that I didn't have till now
When is the last epic session you had?
Probably skating the Tylenol bowl with Keegan and an old friend of Trevor's from Vermont with Children for a sound track. They skated so good I thought I was training in a Kung fu movie set in ancient China. I the crotch out my jeans doing a slash grind. Any session with Keagan Sauder is epic in my books.
One thing people notice about you is your golden hair...Does it stoke you out as much as it stokes others out?
I dont notice it on my head besides the fact that is long, messy and sometimes annoying. If I imagine my self, I dont get an image of fiery orange hair but some times I see it in photos and I am reminded of its vibrancy. It is unique. I went into a sort of a designer nick knack, jewelry boutique the other day and the lady working there remarked that my hair was a beautiful colour and wondered if was natural. She then went on to talk about how in the near future, my colour of hair will be extinct because it is a recessive gene and all. It stokes me that it unique enough that people are interested in it.
What's the average day of Quinn Starr consist of?
I dont want to bore you
What is your favorite snack?
Uprising ginger snaps.
What is your daughters full name and how old is she?
Adelaide Isadora Starr is now two years old.
Where are you from originally and why did you decide to move to Vancouver?
I am from Nelson BC. I moved to Vancouver to live with friends and skate.
Do you plan on filming another part in the near future?
I'm going to film a part this summer.
What are some words of wisdom that you've picked up over the years?
My friend told me this Niels Bohr quote today:"An expert is a person who has made all the mistakes that can be made in a vary narrow field."
I like that; it is so humble and honest. It gives me hope that I'll be good at something one day because I'm making so many mistakes every day. I guess I need to narrow down my field of catastrophe.
