Describe the average day of Pat O'Rourke?
on a regular day I usually wake up turn the tv or computer on, go make some food then figure out what im doing in the day. Usually ill be skating somewhere so I will either go to Maple park in Burlington, or take the train to toronto and meet up with some friends and skate around. Then usually chill with some friends or something at night depending on whats going down.
How do you like living in Toronto?
I actually live in Burlington now.... I was born in Toronto but moved there a couple years ago. Its pretty sick its a small quite place like a hour from the city. Close enough on the train.
Ever consider moving?
Its kind of crossed my mind, but no serious plans about moving. Maybe just downtown in Toronto for the summer.
Who do you skate with?
Whoevers down i guess.
How many sessions a week go down at Dun Bat?
last summer i was there everyday for atleast a couple hours. Looks like its gonna be the same thing this year, goodtimes.
What's the funniest story you have about the Dun Bat Park?
Last year this crazy ass dude would come by on his mountain bike and just go for broke on rolling in on the mini ramp and completely wreck himself. Then one day he borrowed peoples boards and tried to acid drop off the top deck into the mini ramp which is fucking crazy.He like broke his arm and continued to skate around that day. He came back a couple days later and borrowed another board. This time with a splint on his arm, he ate shit a couple more times and never road away. That was definately a funny ass day though, gnarliest thing I saw in a while.
Tell me about your first trip to Barcelona?
Barcelona is fucking nuts. I didnt know if it was gonna be blown out before i got there but it was definately wild. Spots everywhere, cool people, and cheap beer. Im forsure gonna try and get back out there for next winter.
Where you planning on going next?
I wanna go to New York this summer a couple times. Besides that maybe a couple short trips around Canada to skate.
