You just got back from a trip to San Francisco with Boulevard skate shop. How was the trip?
Trip was so tight! It was a giant bro down. Got to skate and meet some new fella’s. Hill bombs and beers!
There was a big crew, no? Who did you hang/skate with the most?
First couple of days we rolled 12 deep. Then we split up into two groups and I was skating with Corey Klim, Nelson Conway, Kyle Desaulniers and Mark Johnson the most.
Apart from SF, where else have you been to skate?
Montreal, NYC, Barcelona, Malaga (South Spain) Seattle, Portland.
Favorite place you’ve been?
Barce and New York are the sh*t, but SF is so tight! I wish I had more than 5 days to stay there.
Didn’t you hurt yourself the first time you were in Barcelona? How’d you do that?
Yeah… At Parallel there’s this giant chair that Spenny and I climbed on for a photo, and when I hopped off I slipped and dislocated my elbow. So basically I just fell off a big chair. Luckily Caissie was there to put my elbow back in.
Any future travel plans?
Right now the Olympics are coming to Vancouver, so I’m getting out of here. I’m going to the Philippines for two weeks with my family during that time. Then I’m going to try to go to Europe or SF to escape the rest of the winter.
What’s up with the whole “I don’t know AJ” thing?

Best thing is skating with the team. Meeting new guys on the team. Skating with all my friends!
Favorite skater who rides for a company through Supra?
Byran Wherry gets me hyped to skate all the time. Russ too. He’s been a true G for a long time. I get hyped on Russ.
Joey Williams ping pong game or Travis Stenger’s dart game?
Both those guys kill it too hard. I never beat Joey once at ping pong. I may have beat Trav once by fluke, but I never knew he had that serious of a dart game.
MACBA or UNI?
MACBA. Straight up. You got Fragile (coffee spot), shawarma right down the street. One Euro 40’s of beer! You got everything. UNI is just three black ledges.
