If you’re in Vancouver next Thursday, Sept 9 and you think you can whip some ass in ping pong then you should come down to the Terracotta Modern Chinese Restaurant for the first ever Quiet Life Ping Pong tournament!!

The tournament will start at 8:00pm sharp and you need to pre-register by sending your name and phone # to contest(at)supradistribution.com. There will be prizes awarded throughout the night with a grand prize to the person who takes it all!!!

The ping pong tables will be set up all night so even if you’re not in a competitive mood you can still come down a play.

The DVS & Mountain High season pass party went down this past weekend and Snowboarder magazine has a bunch of photos. It looked like it was a fun event. Thet hauled in about 25 tons of snow just for the set up!!! And there was free Wahoo’s lunch. Not bad.

This past month, Lakai’s getting Nordical Tour reigned havoc on streets and parks all over the Scandinavian countries. In attendance was Vincent Alvarez, Raven Tershy, JB Gillet, Jesus Fernandez and Danny Brady. The tour wrapped up just in time for everyone to take a breath and head back out on the Lakai Voltage tour that is going on as you’re reading this post. The much anticipated “Battle at Hastings” contest happened this past Saturday and it looks like it was amazing!! All the local bowl shredders showed up to grab a piece of the $2000 prize purse.

I unfortunately wasn’t able to make it (i’m bummed) but our man on the street Mitch Francis was there with photographer/friend Matt Macleod to get in on the action and take some photos.
