Sorry for the late post loyal blog followers. Our site has been down for a few days now. Now that we’re back up and running here are the photos from the Quiet Life pingpong night last Thursday at Terracotta Restaurant in Vancouver.

The DVS & Mountain High season pass party went down this past weekend and Snowboarder magazine has a bunch of photos. It looked like it was a fun event. Thet hauled in about 25 tons of snow just for the set up!!! And there was free Wahoo’s lunch. Not bad.

The much anticipated “Battle at Hastings” contest happened this past Saturday and it looks like it was amazing!! All the local bowl shredders showed up to grab a piece of the $2000 prize purse.

I unfortunately wasn’t able to make it (i’m bummed) but our man on the street Mitch Francis was there with photographer/friend Matt Macleod to get in on the action and take some photos.

Here’s how the expert category broke down:

2a. Sluggo – $300
2b. Adam Hopkins -$300
3a. Chris Connolly – $100
3b. Frontside Kid – $100

(the scores were so close they had two ties!)

Yesterday was the In-Tents tour stop in Castlegar and man it was a scorcher. These guys still threw down though. Here are a few photos from yesterday.

If you’re in Vernon tomororw make sure to make your way down to the Creekside skatepark because these guys will be tearing it up again!

The DVS crew has been on a steady move across the hot pavement in the south Okanagan. Penticton and Osoyoos have been hit with some demo action as well as some street skating missions. We’re on our way to the Kootanys so if your in the Castlegar area make sure you come down to the skateboard park! Stay tuned for more photos and videos from DVS getting In Tents!
