Recession Sessions Tour

Mike Mo Capaldi, Brandon Biebel, Jesus Fernandez, Jeron Wilson and Marty Murawski took part in an East Coast tour re-do this September, signing autographs and demoing-it-up at Fairman’s, NJ Skateshop, KCDC, Theory, Eastern Boarder and Identity. From Philly to New Hampshire we had a good time, starting it up at Bams house for a little skate warm-up before the Fairman’s signing. Bams spot is insane, a playground, really, with a full-course indoor park, an insane mini complete with a tree house and a 3-story roll-in, a few acres of land to ATV on, two Lamborghini’s, his personal XM radio station and a rope-swing in his house, who wouldn’t wanna hang at Bam’s?
Rolling through Philly to NJ, we met up with Chris Nieratko, owner of NJ Skateshop and porno-reviewer extraordinaire, where he hosted a Mike Mo Game of SKATE demo at the local park near. After filling up on porno for the road, we were off to NYC for a few days to shoot our Fall 2010 catalog and sign at KCDC. The KCDC kids were a trip, the team sat in a back room for 30-minutes before any kid even approached for an autograph before one kid finally walked up to Biebel and asked for his autograph…then it was on! Mo played the kids a Game of SKATE and the rest of us drank a few cold ones…
Theory, Eastern Boarder and Identity were great hosts. The kids seemed to have a good time watching the team demo it up for Theory. Eastern Boarder had an insane crowd of kids waiting to see the dudes tear up their budget street course and Identity had a small but cool crowd at their Portsmouth, NH location. A big thanks goes out to Dave at Fairman’s, Chris at NJ, Amy at KCDC, Dan at Theory, Tabor at Eastern Boarder and the dudes at Identity (totally spaced their names but they were hella’ cool). More love to Rob Pontes, Brian Keating and Bam for the good times!
